Ooyala is looking for a hands-on web developer with a keen eye for design, detail and usability to support the corporate website, develop custom online experiences for prospects and increase onsite conversions. This person will be responsible for maintaining the website's Drupal, social community platform and enhanced SEO strategies. Additional duties include site localization for the various markets that Ooyala serves. You should be a self-starter and excellent communicator who is enthusiastic about maintaining a site roadmap, executing polished code and design quickly, and analyze usage patterns to make adjustments and increase KPI's. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the Marketing and Creative Services Team to produce new content, provide guidance on organization, architecture and best practices. Code and troubleshoot Ruby, PHP, Javascript following best practices. Code and troubleshoot HTML, XHTML, CSS using cross-browser techniques and liquid(adaptive) layouts. CMS integration + maintenance (Drupal). Social community development + maintenance (Lithium). Recommend and integrate additional tools for lead conversion tracking & improvement. Develop and manage a strategy to enhance site performance. SEO tracking + integrate best practices.
